National Kidney Month

The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to join partners across the country in recognizing March as National Kidney Month. Each year, National Kidney Foundation (nationally) prepares a toolkit you can use to raise awareness about current issues in kidney health and transplant. Ideas include messgaing for social media, requesting a local proclamation from your mayor or county, and more tools to raise awareness. MCW Solid Organ Transplant Symposium (Professional)

The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to join Medical College of Wisconsin for the 2024 Solid Organ Transplant Symposium on April 13, 2024 as an exhibitor. The target audience for this event is gastroenterologists, nephrologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, dietitians, and dialysis technicians. National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to be the charity partner of Fifth Street Yacht Club at their 3rd Annual Burmeister Memorial Car & Motorcycle show. Visit us and join in the fun on Sunday, August 27 at 761 Marquette Street in Racine.

Rattle the World Event

National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin will be present at Rattle the World for Unity 2023 with an informational table on kidney health and transplant awareness. This concert, to be held at UWM Panther Arena in Milwaukee, will include performances by Chris Tomlin, Amy Grant, and Blessing Offer. Tickets are $3.50 and available through Rattle the World.

Kilby Lake Campground – Organ Donation Celebration Weekend

Kilby Lake Campground will host their annual Organ Donation Celebration Weekend with discounts for living donors, donor families, and transplant recpients, as well as a silent auction to benefit National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin. Over the years the crew at Kilby Lake have improved countless lives as ambassadors for NKFW and organ transplant. We thank them for their ongoing partnership and look forward to joining the celebration on August 10.
