This FREE event will include a review of participants’ health history, basic vital signs, urine testing for participants with an elevated risk of kidney disease, and discussion with a medical provider. No medical insurance is required and results are processed while you wait.

Joint Working Meeting for Wisconsin Chapters

Virtual Meeting

Topic: Join in a collaborative conversation for social workers, dietitians, and representatives from Wisconsin’s transplant centers as we explore BMI barriers to kidney transplantation and brainstorm improvements that are within our control. 

This meeting is a follow-up to the transplant barrier discussions CNSW-WI held last spring. We will be sharing some outcomes of those sessions at this meeting, but no prior involvement is necessary to join in this conversations.

The Council of Nephrology Social Workers – Wisconsin Chapter will host an in-person working meeting at the UW Health Administrative Office Building in Middleton, WI on Friday, May 3, 2024. In addition to chapter business, this meeting will be an interactive working session to explore patient barriers between dialysis and transplant. Please bring your big ideas, current challenges, and your creativity to this collaborative forum.

Lunch will be provided for all in-person attendees and a virtual meeting option will be made available by request.

CRN-WI Chapter Meeting

The Council on Renal Nutrition – Wisconsin Chapter (CRN) is building momentum and we need your input. All renal dietitians are invited to join us for a virtual chapter meeting on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 11:30 AM. The meeting will discuss current concerns in renal nutrition and how this group can best meet your professional needs.

RSVP is needed to receive event link. Membership is not required to participate.

NKF Wisconsin Virtual Townhall

Your voice is needed! In this season of gratitude, National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin (NKFW) invites you join in a Virtual Townhall on November 28 at 4:30 PM. This #GivingTuesday conversation will include a brief presentation about current programs and engagement opportunities at NKFW as well as an open Q&A with CEO, Mike Crowley. It is a chance to share the impact of community support over the past year and take suggestions for the future.

The target audience for this event is gastroenterologists, nephrologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, dietitians, and dialysis technicians.
