Kilby Lake Campground will host their annual Organ Donation Celebration Weekend with discounts for living donors, donor families, and transplant recpients, as well as a silent auction to benefit National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin. Over the years the crew at Kilby Lake have improved countless lives as ambassadors for NKFW and organ transplant. Lupus & Kidney Disease

National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is proud to partner with Lupus Foundation of America – Wisconsin Chapter for a joint educational session on transplant basics with Anna Gaddy, MD. The event will include a discussion about lupus nephritis vs other kidney disease, as well as audience Q&A. Sandwiches and snacks will be provided for attendees.
Doors open at 4:30 PM with the program beginning at 5:00 PM.
NKFW is proud to return to the Lisbon Avenue Health Center with an informational table at their Patient Appreciation Event on Friday, August 8th from 10:30am-1:30pm. This event is part Progressive Community Health Centers celebration of National Health Center Week.

This FREE event will include a review of participants’ health history, basic vital signs, urine testing for participants with an elevated risk of kidney disease, and discussion with a medical provider. No pre-registration is necessary and no medical insurance is required. Results are processed while you wait!

The NKFW RENAL PROFESSIONAL CONFERENCE (RPC-WI) is an opportunity for dietitians, social workers, nurses, dialysis technicians, transplant coordinators, and providers working in all aspects of kidney health to network, share best practices, and earn eight (8) continuing education credits. This event will be returning to the DoubleTree Madison East in 2026 with our Welcome Reception on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 followed by a full day of accredited conference sessions on Thursday, November 12.
