The Parkway 5K & Kidney Mile brings individuals and families together to raise awareness about the importance of kidney health and the life saving treatments of dialysis and transplantation.
The event is managed by Next Level Sports and 5K timing is provided by In Focus Timing.
Enjoy a Spring morning at Whitnall Park (Root River Parkway South) on the scenic, paved route-perfect for casual and avid participants, alike.
Parkway 5K - $35 through April The event features a timed 5K run/walk on a USATF certified course. Children 11 and under can register for the KIDney Fan Club to join in the fun!

Parkway 5K: The scenic USTAF certified course is flat and paved. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome.
Kidney Mile: The 1 mile walk is perfect for anyone! The scenic route is flat and paved. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome.
4) What if there is inclement weather?
The Parkway 5K & Kidney Mile are rain or shine! Event management will make any determination regarding severe weather.
5) Where can I park?
There is some parking along the Root River Parkway and nearby roads. Follow all posted parking regulations. Note: 92nd St is designated as NO PARKING. The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin is not responsible for towing or ticket fees for anyone not following posted parking regulations.
