TEAM WISCONSIN
The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin has served as the 'Team Wisconsin' Headquarters coordinating living donors, Wisconsin transplant recipients and family members of deceased donors (donor family members) who have participated in the NKF U.S. Transplant Games®.

Now, NKFW Team Wisconsin members are actively promoting organ, tissue and eye donation awareness in Wisconsin. Our activities and events are focused on Ending The Wait for organs here in Wisconsin and throughout America. We want every eligible resident of Wisconsin to know about the Donor Registry, www.YesIWillWisconsin.com.

Whether you are a transplant recipient, living donor, a family member of a deceased donor, a healthcare professional or just someone committed to promoting donation awareness, we want you to be a part of the NKFW’s Team Wisconsin.

ABOUT THE NKF U.S. TRANSPLANT GAMES®
The National Kidney Foundation U.S. Transplant Games® have offered transplant recipients, living donors and family members of deceased donors a chance to come together to honor the gift of life and celebrate the success of transplantation.

In 2010, over 2,000 children and adult recipients attended this extraordinary four-day event in Madison, Wisconsin.

Transplant recipients (heart, lung, liver, kidney, pancreas and bone marrow) of ALL ages participated in various sports offered during the Games.

Living donors and family members of deceased donors had the opportunity to meet others who have shared similar experiences. During the Games, they were also honored for their 'gifts' at special ceremonies.
