ABOUT THE GAMES
The National Kidney Foundation U.S. Transplant Games give transplant recipients, living donors and donor family members a chance to come together to honor the gift of life and celebrate the success of transplantation.
The Games are held every other year in different locations throughout the United States. In 2010, over 2,000 children and adult recipients will attend this extraordinary four-day event.
Transplant recipients* of ALL ages can participate competitively or casually in one or more of 12 sports offered during the Games.
Living donors and family members of deceased donors will have the opportunity to meet others who have shared similar experiences. During the Games, they are also honored for their 'gifts' at special ceremonies.
